This is how the practice room at the Zomerweg in Aalten looked initially. The room with walls of drywall on metal studs turned out to have excessive reverb. Sound was chaotic, drums sounded loud, harsh and undefined, the other instruments had to be played to loud generating problems for the vocalists like feed back and unintelligibility.

  With help from our friends of Ready Acoustics IPSIS tamed the reverb. We distributed 12 Super Bass Trap bags filled with 15 cm of Rockwool at ear heigth over 3 walls.

Ready Bags are a convinient way to add absorption to a room. The cloth bags can easely be filled with mineral wool providing massive absorption. A keen system to hang the bags to walls or ceilings in various ways makes this the most versatile absorption system we are aware of. Thanks to Scott R. Foster and Joel Dubay for giving us the chance to check these great devices out.
