Control room

The conditions for the design of a control room are first determined. It is checked whether there are any critical points, such as neighbours or objects that produce noise, because we want to keep the noise produced inside inside and noise from outside must remain outside. Based on these insights, it is determined which constructions are necessary to guarantee the above. Then, a computer model is used to calculate how the whole should be dimensioned, taking into account standing waves, reverberation time, reflections, etc. Based on this, the final design is fully explained in consultation with the client, and provided with all relevant (detail) drawings to the client. It is indicated how and where loudspeakers, listening position, sound absorption, diffusion, etc. must be installed and based on this data a construction company can make a quotation and realise the construction; IPSIS Acoustics supervises the construction and can always be consulted if there are any questions. IPSIS strives to realise projects in consultation with the client with the lowest possible material costs by avoiding the use of specialist construction materials wherever possible. Of course, once construction has been completed, IPSIS can perform all noise measurements to check and fine-tune everything.
