Loud noise is unwanted sound that can have a significant impact on the quality of work, living, and life. IPSIS performs sound measurements and can determine whether noise exceeds standards, classifying it as nuisance noise. We provide advice on preventing or resolving noise issues such as machine noise, traffic noise, and music-related noise. Because we worked with studios and sound systems in the hospitality industry, we encountered licensing requirements. Therefore, IPSIS also prepares acoustic reports in accordance with the Environmental Management Act. IPSIS also offers R&D services; we were one of the first companies in the Netherlands to purchase the then highly advanced MLSSA measurement system. This allowed us to conduct state-of-the-art measurements on loudspeakers, room acoustics, acoustic materials, and mechanical systems decades ago. For example, we provided advice on newly developed gas burners that produced excessive noise, absorbing panels with waterproof finishes that generated sound reflections, and new methods for generating diffusion (read more here).
