Recording room

Before designing a recording room, we first determine the conditions. We look for critical points, such as neighbors or objects that produce sound, because we want to keep the sound produced inside contained and keep outside noise out. Based on these insights, we determine which constructions are needed to ensure this.

Then, using a computer model, we calculate how the entire setup should be dimensioned, taking into account standing waves, reverberation time, reflections, etc. Based on this, the final design is fully explained in consultation with the client and provided with all relevant (detail) drawings. Using this data, a construction company can create a quotation and carry out the construction; IPSIS Acoustics supervises the construction and can always be consulted if there are any questions. IPSIS strives to realize projects in consultation with the client at the lowest possible material costs by avoiding the use of specialist construction materials wherever possible. Once the construction is completed, IPSIS can perform all noise measurements to check and fine-tune everything.
